▪️ Do not consume any alcohol beverages, or caffeine (coffee - even decaf, tea, energy drinks) or eat high-sodium foods, high sugar foods, refined carbohydrates, spicy foods, and smoke cigarettes for 72 hours prior and 72 hours after your appointment. It will cause the skin to irritate and bleeding will reduce the pigment absorption as blood will push out the colors and can also slow down the healing process.▪️ Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamins, fish oil, Advil, Ibuprofen or any blood thinner medication 48 hours before procedure. (Please consult with your doctor before stopping any medication).
▪️ Do not work out 24 hours before treatment.
▪️ Please note that woman that are in or near their menstrual cycle tend to bleed more than those who are not. You will also be more sensitive to pain.
▪️ You should skip moisturizing or use any products/makeup on your brows 24 hours prior.
▪️ No tinting for 4 weeks prior.
▪️ Avoid tanning 1 week prior to your appointment.
▪️ Avoid using microdermabrasion, facials, chemical peels, toners, serum, skin products that contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), BHAs and Retinoids of any kind IN YOUR BROWS IMMEDIATELY and discontinued completely after procedure. Although these products can help with anti aging, acne, and even out skin tone, it can strip the skin and make it hard for the ink to stick.
You can still use these products on the rest of your face, but not on your brows. These products can also cause the pigments to fade prematurely and alter the color.
